The original model for the snowflake bookends will be included in the silent auction for Animal Haven’s Martinis Gala 2010 on the evening of February 6 at the Muehlebach Tower of the downtown Marriott. I embroidered on the back of one of the bookends, “Animal Haven Thanks You (followed by a heart) Gala ’10,” so it should be an important keepsake for the lucky recipient. The Gala’s rock ‘n roll theme should be fun.
Animal Haven is now greater Kansas City’s largest no-kill animal shelter. All funds raised will go to the care of the homeless pets at Animal Haven.
Our family was fortunate to have gotten a cat and a dog that have since passed away from Animal Haven and they were both great pets. Consider getting out for this fun event and support the efforts of this organization.

I have took on 2 rescue dogs that were deserted by their previous owners. They are the most loveable creatures I have ever experienced. It is deplorable how some individuals treat animals like property or worse. My hope is that more people will get informed about this issue.

Dog domestication and human settlement occurred at the same time, some 15,000 years ago, raising the possibility that dogs may have had a complex impact on the structure of human society.
I was told having a pet makes you live longer, thank you my cat.
Great tips to follow. Being professional and showing them there’s more to come I think are the most important. You need to give them a great article, that makes them want to come back. And then make sure you don’t disappoint.
